For the past 6 years the wonderful Cook Islands bowlers have showered our Australian guests with unmeasurable hospitality, which has truly ‘made‘ this holiday such a special time for all.
By hosting our Aussie bowlers, the Rarotonga Bowls Club of the Cook Islands has been able to raise funds for the following:-
* Obtaining solar panels to reduce the exorbitant electricity costs
* Obtaining Sky TV so they can watch world bowls
* Invested coaching of their ‘raw talent’ junior bowlers – who have greatly surprised visitors with their talent!
Our visiting bowlers over the years have donated old bowls, clothing and other equipment, which has been truly appreciated.

“Kia Orana to all Uplift staff! I would like to thank you all, especially Claire for organising such a wonderful trip to the Cook Islands. I think that the program that was put together was a great all round mix of culture, history and up close and personal experiences with the beautiful people of Raratonga. Not to mention the welcoming patrons of the Cook Islands Bowling Club . I would certainly consider doing more trips with your company. Big thanks also to Claire for her caring attitude when I was unwell. I certainly will be raving about my trip to all of my friends at the Asquith Bowling Club. If you sent me some flyers for next years trip I will make sure they are displayed on our noticeboard.” – Chris S.
Hi to all at Uplift! I had a wonderful time on the Cook Islands Tour. Everything was well organized, from pick up to drop off. I would like to make special mention of the extra effort Claire took to make sure we had something organized for our rainy day. She also made my Birthday special with a card and little Birthday cup cake with a candle. We were all kept up to date with everything that was planned every day, making this a very relaxing holiday.” – Regards Patricia J.
“A very moving and uplifting experience at the local church service. They certainly do raise the roof with their beautiful singing. The children were amazing and the speread they provided for us afterwards was delicious and plentiful to say the least. The cultural performance concert was also a highlight. Everything we did was fantastic!”
